How does it work?

When renting from OPB you have 2 options. First would be a private charter option giving complete control of the bus for the full duration of rental. This must be booked with consecutive hours and allows for complete customization. We recommend this option if you have multiple stops and want the option of bringing or leaving your coolers, food and personal items on the bus.

Our second option is what we call a Round Trip transfer. This option allows for a 1.5 hour trip to your destination and a 1.5 hour return trip. All items must come off bus when you disembark and customization with route is limited to the 1.5 hours each way. This will be billed at a flat rate based off of the bus size and locations. Normal price cost for this service will range from $640 – $950 + Tax.

Are there any additional fees?

The only fee that will be applied is if your first pick up or final drop off is outside of the city limits of Honolulu. We will offer free pick up from Hawaii Kai – Pearl City, past those points will be an additional hour added to your order. This fee will be waived if you book for 6 or more hours.

Do we provide Alcohol?

As you may drink on any of our party buses we will not provide alcoholic beverages, all of our party buses are BYOB. We can on the other hand provide a non alcoholic beverage and ice service for an additional charge.

Is gratuity included in the cost if not how much is customary?

Gratuity is not included in your final cost unless you have multiple buses booked. In that case a 10% per bus gratuity charge will be applied to your order. If you just have an individual bus booking, tipping is not required but is greatly appreciated and can be of any rage you feel is appropriate.

How does the music work on the bus?

We provide a USB loaded with hundreds of music videos that will play audio and video throughout the whole bus. If you wish to connect your own phone or mobile devices, all of our buses have bluetooth and AUX capability. Please keep in mind if you play your music via an external device only audio will work. You are more than welcome to provide your own USB with music videos or bring a DVD to use as well.

Are we able to extend time once on board?

Yes, we allow time extensions based on the bus availability for the night. The charge would be the hourly rate that corresponds with what bus you are on and can be paid to the driver in cash or card.

Is the $200.00 deposit in addition to the order cost or a separate charge?

The deposit comes out of the remaining balance. We like to have that balance paid in full 24 Hours before your run. You do have the option to pay the remaining balance in cash the day of pick up.

How do I know if my order is confirmed, will I have any other contact from OPB before my run.

Once confirmed you will get a confirmation email that reflects your status. Your driver will contact you 24 hours up to 1 hour before your run with his information and details. If you have any changes to your order such as pick up times and or locations please respond to your confirmation email with your updated information. We try to accommodate all requests but is subject to availability and timeliness of request change.

When I go to submit my order the final price is extremely high, did I input something incorrectly?

This happens when you submit a booking under our minimum hours. Please note that Friday – Saturday we have a 4 hour minimum. Sunday – Thursday is a 3 hour minimum.

What time is your office open and may we come to the bus lot?

Our buses operate 24/7 catering to all your transport needs, but our office, however, is staffed Monday – Friday 9AM HST – 6PM HST. If you call outside of our operating hours please make sure to leave a message and we will get back to you the following business day. As for coming to the physical lot this is by appointment only, as we have to be sure that the buses are available, so please reach out to us via email to schedule a time.
